Garden 2020

So this year I'm going all out with my garden. I'm going to plant just about everything I possibly can.

I have plans for giant pumpkins, sweet corn, peppers, tomatoes, and some very exotic grapes ;)

I had a hard time getting some things to grow last year, but I have a lot of confidence for this year. I have been studying and planning and getting every last bit of information I can on how to produce the best plants.

I'm also going to try and grow most of my own food instead of buying from a store. The first year won't be the greatest, but if I can get the garden established I'm sure the years to come will be plentiful.

I've had some thoughts about how I want to continue on this earth. I want to become self-sufficient, eventually getting my own chickens for eggs, etc. We buy our meat locally, as well. Growing your own food is very rewarding. Planting the seeds, watering them and watching them grow. Being able to provide fresh food for your family is one of the best feelings in the world.

I'm also one of those who's convinced the world may end some day and we are going to need to know how to grow our own food and hunt and be able to provide for our families and ourselves. Maybe some day there won't be big grocery stores to go to or fancy restaurants to eat at. And then again, maybe everything will turn out just fine and those nice luxuries will get even better. Only time will tell.

As a parent, raising my kids to be able to do these things and teach them about nature and how life works is very essential. You can really appreciate the things you have more when you put the work in to get them.

I have downloaded and reviewed some books that have helped me so much to learn about survival gardens. Here is a link to my favorite: https://efe2a8p3gy7wds185sdtrcsj24.hop.clickbank.net/

Please leave comments letting me know if you downloaded this book and what you thought of it!

In a couple weeks I will be posting about the new plants I start indoors for the garden outside this year. Check back soon for more!
